I have an 04 6.0 diesel X and I get very good mileage by doing what everybody is talking about....higher tire pressure, easier take offs and coasting a little more to stop and not caring about the idiots behind me who are smaller and more impatient. If they are in that much of a hurry they can zoom around or leave 5 minutes sooner. I had a suburban for 9 years before I bought the X and got good mileage by thinking about my truck and the trips I was making. Don't get me wrong, when it was time to play-I played!! But I know that at $4 a gallon we need to be a little less of a lead foot, and it is difficult riding in the slow lane some times on the high way but when I do the math on fillups and see my mileage up where it has never been before...well I am very very happy. Plus, when you have a drop dead sexy black on black excursion heads will always turn and people will always move for ya anyway!!
