Im not sure, but my best guess is door locks shouldnt be an issue...Im not sure though if a 67 up type tumbler will work in the earlier ignition switch. My hesitance is with the ign. sw. bezel as Ive never seen a 67 type so I dont know.
I would like to replace my 66 ignition switch and door locks with those of a 67. Can it be done?
The ignition switch is the same 1961/67 (C7UZ-11572-A), so the 1967 double sided ignition cylinder w/keys can be used.
But the 1967 door latches and door lock cylinder and keys are 1967 only.
In fact 1967's are also different than 1968/72. 1967 is a one year door, with a completely different locking mechanism than 1968/72's use.
1968/72's use a door lock ****, 1967's do not.

Thanks for the info.
I had hoped that I could use both. The same key fits the ignition and door locks on my 67.
That truck is not roadworthy so I figured I would swap them.
I never got a key for the doors on the 66 so I can't lock the doors.
Oh well I guess its time for a salvage yard search.
The trucks aren't listed among the applications at Dearborn, because they sell Ford Galaxie, Falcon, Fairlane & other car parts.
But, the lock set for your truck is the same as these cars used.
