Wiring harness ID #'s
I ended up finding a melted wire that ran the brake circut which had been bypassed with power from a different wire, (but with the melted part still hot), a add on horn button wired to the turn signal flasher which was always hot, a broken fuse panel with the brake fuse terminals gone and broken out, a few bare hot wires under the dash, dirty turn signal switch with some wires in under the steering wheel that had insulation worn through, poor add on connections using house hold wire nuts and crimp on connectors on various add on's, also had a worn plastic bushing on the brake switch mount bolt. I ended up putting in a new brake light switch, headlight/dimmmer switch, cleaning the fuse box terminals, putting in the right fuses in the right spots, and rewiring the brake switch and flasher power supplies.
I had to unwrap the entire under dash harness to find what was going on.
My current harness had a white ID tag that looks to be factory, wrapped around it that had the following information.
ISX
C8TB
14444A
What does this info mean? And can I order a new harness with this? If I have future issues I will be replacing my harness.
Also the brake switch mounting bolt is a eccentric, I am assuming that this is to adjust the brake light switch?
This forum has been a HUGE help. I got the truck home and all this started when I took out the hacked in brake controller. I have learned alot here.

Original shop manuals: faxonautolit.com
1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog on a CD = hipoparts.com / also sold on fleabay.
The parts catalog is a worthwhile investment (the price is less than $23.00), because EVERY part is illustrated, which means the catalog can also be used as an assembly/dis-assembly manual.
I'll look around on the net for one of these harnesses, but the chances of finding one will prolly be slim and none. It's been obsolete since the 1980's.
EDIT: Neither Green Sales or Dennis Carpenters websites shows the harness.
