Brake light is on
Finally got some decent weather so I could get my truck going. I thought I had a brake leak, but it turns out all I had was air in the lines. My uncle had put back brakes on about 3 months ago, and I don't think he got them bled all the way. What had happened is the pedal would go to the floor, but you could pump them up and it would stop you. However, I was losing brake fluid in the resivoir for the rear brakes. In the one block drive from my Grandpa's house to mine, the brake light came on when the pedal went to the floor.
Anyhow, I got them bled, and I have good brakes, but the brake light is still on. My parking brake lever is in the released position. Do these trucks use the brake light for just the parking brake? Is there a switch somewhere that I could be missing? My truck has manual brakes, if that helps.
Thanks all, and hopefully this post isn't too confusing-

If everything has been fixed, lines have been bled, then turn the key to run and press real hard on the brake pedal to try and recenter the actuator rod to center and thus turn the brake warning light off.
Basically if it's hitting the floor and then you have to pump it up? I'd lean towards the master cylinder or a wheel cylinder seeping fluid out. Have you checked directly under the drums---just where the drum meets the backing plate for any damp areas?
