Use ice-pick to punch hole in ball (ouch!)

, preferably new ball.

Run a piece of string or curtain cord through ball and tie string/cord into a knot.

Locate and mount nail or screw eye into ceiling in garage.

Hang ball from ceiling so as to touch windshield of vehicle (when parked where YOU want it) so that wife won't drive van into back wall of garage and damage van, or wall, or your favorite toolbox!
