If I had a few less years and responsibilities I would be buying that truck.

Cant seem to rationalize the $6500 price tag though.

Not bad, with the proper touches it would be ok depending on how it has been built.
The price is abit up there though.....

I guess an argument could be made that a relatively straight rust free 56 short-box body has some value all by itself.

6500 isnt much in terms of what you could sell some stuff off of it for, and use the rest.

Sell everything but the body and there ya go.

None of it would get sold if I did get a hold of it, it`s a neat ride as is.

i think its lacking something... maybe bigger rubber or something?? maybe its just the fact that we rarely see a jacked up '56...

It would look alright with some 20 inch rims and somewhat narrower rubber

Bigger rims and tires might make it look better.

I think Sherm has it right though, maybe it just looks "funny" because we never see them 4x4 and jacked up.

Phoned today. The 56 has a 89 F150 4x4 frame and drive train, professionally shortened, 5.8 Fuel injected automatic, dual exhaust with the 89 guages incorporated in the 56 dash.
