decking/milling fe heads?

i know this is kinda old school, but could you mill the heads of a 390 for higher copression?

i was thinkin like .020 with a carbide fly cutter but im not sure.

I would be reluctant to mill them more than you need, .020 will not make a lot of difference with the compression and may start to cause alignment issues with the intake manifold.
