I have a propane leak some where right near my propane bottles. I have two 30 lb bottles up front on a travel trailer. When I turn both bottles off, no leak. But when either is on I get a pretty heavy propane smell. Could it be the regulator, or should I re-set all the connections. I am a tradesman, and working with tool is my life. I am just wanting advice from a pro, before I proceed!
take soapy water and spary it around. you should see bubbles. alot of times it is the hoses that leak, they say you should replace them every couple of years.
It is probably the valve assembly. They are not that expensive, but check the lines for leakswith the soapy water first. Be sure to check all the connections while you are there.
