ok i have the silverline 409 stainless dual exhaust and its rustin in places, i haven't even had it a year yet. even the 304 muffler is rustin. i think i have a lifetime warrenty ya'll think i should call them?
well i have the duals, do ya'll think they would hook me up with a 5" single. the duals have only been a trouble keepin them straight and symetrical with each other
where i live we use salt for at least 6 months out of the year..two years ago i went with MKO aluminum and painted them....still looks new and no rust showing as of last week...
not sure if they will do a swap for a single..id say probly not..but sure is worth asking them...
T-409 does get surface rust, not sure about the muffler being T-304.
T-304 will not rust and does have a lifetime warranty, I believe. T-409 doesn't.
Personally I'd never do a T-409....either aluminized or T-304.
Thanks, It saved me typing. The 409 will generally get a goldish surface "discoloration" but it will not rust through. Look at your stock exhaust you took off...that was 409 stainless IIRC.
