Trailer hitch question

I'm looking to put a trailer hitch on my F100. There is a 94 Bronco at work with a hitch on it. I measured it from end to end and it was about 37 1/4" give or take. I was going to unbolt it and try it but before I go through the effort do you guys think it will fit right? Thanks.

Most equalizer hitches are custom installed.

I would think it would be close but would need some retro-fitting.

They don't fit exactly, same width and lenth but there is a gentle sweep in the frame of the bronco the leaves about a 1/4 inch space at the rear of the frame between the hitch and frame. I used the hitch off a 95 and just used a couple shims to take up the space but I also built 2 side plates that bolted the the hitsh sides and throught the frame with 1/2 inch bolts, just for my peace of mind.

Maybe I will try it then. I could live with a few shims and some grade 8 bolts of course. It will just be for a little utility trailer for some home depot runs around town. Not towing a boat or anything heavy. I just figured if I could save some money since truck is being sold and take it I'd be better off. Funds are tight right now and I'm always looking for a good deal. If I had a step bumper I'd just use a ball, but I like the bumper I have now. Thanks for the replies.

I took hitch off Bronco. Looks like it will bolt right up once I drill the holes. Just gotta pick up some grade 8s tomorrow and hopefully get to install on Friday and do some wiring.
