Heater core?

What is the easiest way to remove the heater core out of a non AC truck?

For a novice, the easiest way is to purchase the appropriate shop manual for the vehicle you are repairing and follow the steps.

On the other hand, the easiest and cheapest (saves the cost of the manual) way is to search; this forum, the technical articles and the "heating and cooling" forum further down the list.

You are in luck. The non-a/c trucks are as easy as it gets.

Haha, Yeah I'm kinda glad I dont. My heater core is leaking a bit and I decided to look at a 75 f250 that they have in the local junk jard and after looking at it I knew I needed a little advise on how to get the whole unit out under the dash.

Just remember to loosen the the bolt that fastens the dash to the right side door jamb.
You have to pull on the dash to slide the heater assembly out.
