Intermittent Transmission Problems
We just had the tranny replaced in our '00 X V10 about two weeks ago (they said that there were little bits of metal that had welded themselves to the inside of the box). The first trip out after getting it back, the transmission started doing exactly what it did before we had it replaced, namely not shifting. Took it back and they couldn't find anything wrong. We told them to keep it until they figured it out. Turns out to be a problem with the throttle position sensor. Are there any links to sites on how to replace it? I can't see spending another $250 after the $3900 for the new tranny and rear engine seal replacement for a part that costs less than $50.
