Tranny question
A friend bought a 91 F 150 w/5.0 in it but it has a bad 5 speed. He found a ZF 5 speed but I don't think the one in it is a ZF. If it's not is there any difference in the way they are mounted/installed? If so, what parts are necessary? Thanks in advance!

I know when most people convert from auto to manual in our trucks the get the ZF, so I see no probs, just make sure the driveshaft spline count is the same. the I6/5.0/5.8 engines all use the same bell housing. The 460's use a different one.
