yeah there was two combinations... a 19/16 and a 16/16... i think. don't quote me but i'm pretty sure the front tank is smaller on the shortbox trucks. Dustins is a longbox.
yeah thats true. the front tank was the 19 gallon in my '96. i think that was the common one for single tank applications. i like the looks of the single tank more, but the dual tanks were awesome for road tripping!!
gasoline slip tanks are a little harder to come by aren't they?? i was reading somewhere that there is a whole different rulebook for them but i could be mistaken...
I dont think they are different then diesel ones. Now a days you are supposed to have a double wall (or whatever they are called) tank instead of the old single ones. I dont believe the type of fuel you put in it makes any difference, except maybe the warning on the tank changes.
I have one of the single walled tanks with a hand pump and if i everdecide I need it, im gonna use it till the DOT, or someone gives me hell for it!
In alberta if you dont have a double wall tank out in the patch, you get asked to leave.
Your right sherm the front tank is smaller on the front on shortboxes the rear are bigger where
as mine is a longbox so the front tank is bigger and the rear tank is smaller mine is like 19 and 18 gallon my dad is like 18 gallon 16 gallon something like that give or take a few numbers on my dads i cant remember but smaller tanks his is a shortbox
