Hmmm, do they have a number stamped on them? I would not be surprised if they were called engine mounts, and the rubber part called an isolator. Looks like I get to learn something new also.
When I first read the post I thought you were trying to use them, had me all skeered for the grief you would encounter.
These aren't motor mounts, but they attach to them.. If someone can fill me in on the proper ID for these much appreciated.
These are the engine mount brackets (perches-stands) for a 1964/65 T-Bird.
C5SZ-6028-A .. Right Engine Mount Bracket / C5SZ-6029-A .. Left Engine Mount Bracket.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Additional parts needed to install the FE engine in a 1964/65 T-Bird.
C4SZ-6038-C .. Right Motor Mount / C4SZ-6038-D .. Left Motor Mount / These mounts are steel & rubber.
Installation. The motor mounts bolt to the block with two bolts per side (7/16" -14 x 7/8").
The stud of these mounts attaches to the engine perches which then bolt to a bracket that is welded to the crossmember.
On the left side there is an additional (L shaped) bracket that acted as a shield (C4SZ-6035-A).
Bob, these perches won't work on 1965/66 F100/250's with a 352 or any other engine. They are turkeybird only.
The trucks use different engine mounts and perches. I have the parts catalog illustration for both car & truck. If you'd like to drive up to Hacienda Heights and take a look, lemme know.
