navigation system use

Question - In the 2008 F250 super duty, can a person enter information into the factory installed nagivation system while the truck is in motion?

some things are restricted to below 10mpg ( like entering an address ). Most things can be used. It works well.

As I remember, if you save a destination as a 'quick address' (or something like that), you can select it. But not pick from full address book or enter an address from scratch.

While in motion you can not enter address, but you can use the your address list you saved on it. You can't enter phone numbers for a location. And your points of interests are limited to the quick POI's you entered. All around it's pretty good, but it doesn't work that well out in the country. It's told me to go through several private gates.

You guys may want to check out this thread. A member got his navigation to work in his Expedition while driving. I have posted information on how to try doing the same thing in an 08 Super Duty, but I don't know if anyone has tried it yet.
