Cd did not work

Can anyone help me with a cd problem? I burned a cd and it worked in all the systems in the house and on the computer but when I put it in the trucks factory cd player it did not work. I tried a different cd in the truck and that one worked. The cd was a CD-RW. Any help would be great

Is this in the 99 350? It's really not supposed to play burned CD's, some might still work though. I usually has to do with the way you burn the CD, if you 'finallize' the files..

Just re-read the post....the CD-RW is the problem, just use plain CD-R's

Use plan CD-R's and make sure you burn them as slow as you can. It will help the pickup on the factory decks.

Make sure you're converting to 'audio file' as opposed to some other format (.wav, mp3 etc.) or just copying the existing computer files onto the disc, newer players recognize all these formats (such as the ones iun your house) and the older ones don't.
