When threads grow large their retrieval slows the database. It would be best for folks to a) start seperate threads for each topic they discuss (even the frivolous topics) rather than lumping them all into one thread, b) shut down a thread and start a new version after a couple hundred posts or c) schedule time for chapter members to visit the chat room as a group. Thanks gang.
