Hey, man, there are some things you just don't joke about
I'll relate to you the happy scene I came upon while driving up the Merritt Parkway in CT last week - yet another Toyota pickup with a snapped front spindle. He managed to get it off the side of the road, but the wheel was wedged up in the back part of the fender. Judging by the skidmark, he did a pretty good job keeping it together.
That's one of the down sides to working second shift, you get home after everyone has had an evening of it and gone off to bed. Then again, I almost never have to listen to an alarm clock going off.....
