Hello i have a 1993 f-150 with the mazda 5sp 4x4 300 and the tag says I have 3.08 gears. I just got a set of 33" tires and rims and I am wondering if i am crazy to even think of running the above stuff. Having said that would 3.54's be ideal for pretty much general driving to and from work and the occasional offroading. I use the truck to plow snow in the winter and low range is ideal for that.
I do have a parts truck with 3.54's in it. is it recommended to reuse gears or go new.
also are there any places in canada (british columbia) where a person could get a set of gears and the required parts.
