Finding the PCV valve: 87 Ranger
Like so many others I am having a hard time locating the pcv valve on my 87 ranger, 2wd, 2.3 liter FI. I bought the one that NAPA says is the right one which has the large chrome base that typically fits into the rubber grommet on the top of the valve cover and has two small vacuum fittings on the top, both facing the same 90 Degree direction. Do I need to remove the intake manifold or the oil filter to get to the thing? I can't find it. Help please!
