change flareside bed
does anyone know if it would be possible to put a regular bed on on 06 f150 in place of a flareside bed that came on the truck? i can get a used bed no problem but i think i might need some other hardware. thanks in advance for any advice.

I have the same truck, its a 2006 STX with that bed. You shouldn't run into any problems with changing out the beds. The mounting holes should line up in the same place since they are the same trucks just diffrent beds on them.

I wouldn't mined a get a step side bed if it was the same color as mine ...couldn't find one when i bought my truck ...but anyway the only thing i really thing is different is th gas filler neck and the rear bumper
