Hi all - I recently ended up with a 69 Jeepster Commando that is partway through an engine swap. The donor engine is a 302 from an 86 Grand Marquis. The wiring harness is from Painless Wiring, but unfortunately it is wired for a MAF. I have a MAF from a 96 F-150, but my concern now is with the computer. The Grand Marquis is pre-MAF, so I think I need a different computer, but I'm not sure. Rather than buy one, I'd like to find a used one if I need one. I have one from a 93 F-150, but I'm thinking that it isn't a MAF engine. Does anyone have any suggestions on computer donors that might be readily available? Any input would be great.
Yeah, I know I'm going to have to go junk yard cruising, but I'm hoping to get some specific vehicle recommendations before I start looking. Any suggestions?

I am putting a 302 that I am building into my 56 F100. I will be putting a MAF Sensor on it so have been doing some research on the topic. You will need to use a computer that is set up for a MAF (Ford used MAF Sensors from 87 on). This site will give you the computer numbers you will want to search for. You will also need to get a computer that is for the type of transmission you have (Manual or Automatic)
