351w heads
What are the best aftermarket heads for a 351w. I'm looking for something not too expensive but something that adds horsepower. I had a spark plug break off in my left head and im thinking i might just buy new heads insead of going to the trouble of getting it out. thanks & happy new year.

That's a pretty subjective question; just like cams and intakes. Aluminum heads tolerate higher compression ratios and are easier to port and repair. Cast iron probably is more suited to the constant cold-start conditions or extended overheating situations such as being stuck in traffic. Since your looking to simply bolt-on and go; I'd suggest a set of Roush's or GT40-P's. Just my opinion.

i have already tried gt40p heads keep in mind that you will needa longer shank spark plug special headers for those heads also different plug wires with heat protectors. other than that seems to run ok but i dont know what kind of power that it provides
