Replacing 6 Disc Changer

Good Morning;
The original 6 Disc changer in my 1998 Expedition is acting up. It's located in the center console between the seats.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket changer that's a direct swap for the original unit meaning no cable or physical modifications to the car.

There is no such thing. You can find used changers on ebay. If I were you I'd just go that route.
