Tired 5.0

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-Dec-02 AT 04:56 PM (EST)]My 89 bronco has 194000 miles, and is deveoping some blow-by,and the rear main seal leaks some even though I replaced it..There was a groove in the crank. It still 4wheels real nice, but Im getting sick of smelling oil. I am trying to figure out if I should rebuild the motor that I have since they make so many things for 5.0s. Another option would be a 351 or 460 swap.... I just donno. BTW, I have a real nice exh system on it now,MSD ign, K&N filter, 4.56 gears, AOD.

A 351W is almost a bolt-in swap and will give you a lot more low-end torque. You can keep most everything you have, but you'll have to use a 351W-balanced flexplate.
