302 to 302 HO Conversion Water Pump Problem
I am converting a 93 F150 302 to 5.0 HO from a 93 Thunderbird. The problem is the Thunderbird Water Pump is too short and and the truck water pump will not mount up properly. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks

I'm in the middle of a conversion now. I had a problem with my water pump too. For me, The truck pump would bolt up, but leaked like crazy. I exchanged the pump for one from a 92 Lincoln Mark VII 5.0 H.O. and it works fine.
Now I have a question for you. Did you notice any difference between the intake manifold gaskets between the standard 5.0 and the H.O. motor? I suspect they may be different since my intake is leaking water badly. Either that, or I really messed up putting the intake on.
