Hey I'm just introducing myself to the forum. My name is Justin, I work on helicopters for the Navy , and I just bought a 1964 F100 with a 460. I was told it is making about 500hp, but I'll get it dynoed after I take care of a few things. I need to find a bench seat, the previous owner got rid of the original and put bucket seats in it, but I'd rather switch back. Also on my list of things is a 9" rear, and some new wheels, bolt pattern 5 on 5 1/2 I'd like something old school with like 15x4s out front and 15x10 0r 12's out back. if you guys could help me with some info on where to find these I'd really appreciate it. also here is a link to some pictures of the truck, they really don't do it any justice as the body is perfectly straight and solid. and no it's not for sale.

What rear end does your truck have now? There were three different ones offered. The 9" doesn't have an inspection cover on the back, the two Spicer's do.
Ford 9 inch / Spicer (Dana) 44 / Spicer (Dana) 60
The Ford 9 inch was standard equipment.
If you have the optional Spicer 44, you prolly have a Limited Slip rear end.
The Spicer 60 was also an option, but not many trucks had one.
Look on your trucks Warranty Plate, on the left door face below the latch for the AXLE code. Post what the code is. That will tell what rear end it had originally.
