Thorley headers on a 351w
I'm putting a 351w into a 1970 Land Cruiser and I'm having trouble tracking down people who have successfully done this swap (seems that most people like to swap in Chevy engines. go fig). Before I spend money on headers that might not fit, I was wondering if anyone here who is running Thorley headers on their 351w could take a quick ballpark measurement of clearance between the headers and framerail and also provide the framerail width at that point. Doesn't have to be exact, just pretty close. Also, I assume these headers clear a C6 as well as a C4, right? My previous longtube headers on this engine ran right into the bellhousing on the 700r4 I was running. I'd rather avoid that. Thanks in advance for any info!
