I know this thread is 1 year old, but I just finished installing my Daystar 2" leveling kit. The finished height ended up being 3" in the front. The truck sits pretty level now. I had to get the camber kit installed in order to align properly, but I my alignment shop tells me I need I beam drop brackets to properly align. I can't seem to find just drop I beam brackets anywhere. Anyhow here's the before and after pics:
Wow, that leveling kit really changed the looks of your truck. Mirrors, paint and wheels look completely different.
Can't help any on your missing pieces, but I do remember reading about broken steering gear issues on the early 99 models. I don't remember if it was only with a lift, or if it included the leveling kit as well. Might be worth doing a little research to see if there's anything else you need to change before something breaks.

Thanks! Those two pics are 3 years apart, the most recent one is today. It's Herculined down the sides. I just swapped the mirrors out last week. I got tired of those POS paddles.
