Grinding!!??

Grinding!!??
ok so me and ol' girl was ridin through town in the 250 when i noticed a grinding as i started slowing down to stop(while pressing brakes) since i bought the truck bout 2 months ago it has always squeeled while braking lightly and roar that i think is comin from the tires (265 BFG All Terrains ) now its startin to grind just on pass. side... what could this be... gonna take it to the stealership tomorrow for oil change and im shure they'll tell me i need a new front end and something that dont exsist like a devapulator aristorator or sum bull like that. i'd really prociate some assistance

Sounds like it could be the wheel bearing, or the needle bearing inside the wheel bearing, or the hub lock. At this point, it sounds like its trashed. Jack the front of the truck up, and spin both wheels. Whichever one is making noise, check and see if the wheel bearing is good. If it is good, then remove the hub lock and see if it still makes the grinding noise, if it does then remove the wheel bearing and check the needle bearing inside of the wheel bearing.

well i dont know if the guy before me had changed um but i know that lifetime brakes sqeel like that and they WILL warp rotors if im not mistakin... but im gettin tires rotated tomorrow anyway so while they have um off i'll get it checked but its only actin like that 1 side right now
