Hey guys, I'm not going this year, due to time and money and gas mileage of my truck (10 mpgs SUCKS) anyway, my buddy who I'm doin the interior and alot of other stuff on WILL be there. I need some help with the Supernationals in Knoxville....Last year was my first year attending and I loved the show. However, I stayed in a super expensive hotel in downtown Knoxville (didn't know any better - I live in Delaware) and was evidently the only truck enthusiast in the whole place. Anyone have any favorite hotels/motels where I'd actually be able to sit and have a few beers and swap war stories after the show with other show folks? I asked around last year and the general consensus was to stay in Pigeon Forge...what's the deal?

If you look at the supernationals web site, www.f100supernationals.com, you will find hotels that a lot of showgoers stay. Most of them are at exit 398 off I40.
I like staying in pigeon forge its only 30 min. to the show.
