Vent window seals
Hey guys, just wondering if someone could help me out. Just got new vent window seals for my 78 F150. Old ones were all shrunk up and leaving a gap into the door and allowing water to get in. Since I just started working on my interior, I decided to replace the seals. Problem is, I am not a mechanic, and I see absolutely no way to install these things. Maybe I am just stupid, but I am lost. Can anyone give me some input on how to dissect these vent windows so that I can get these new seals on and protect my new interior?

I've never done it, but I've looked (stayed at a Holiday Inn) at it and believe you have to take the vent out by taking the 3 screws out of the front of the door. Also you'll have to take the front glass runner (it's all one unit) by removing the door panel and there is a nut that has to come off the lower portion of the glass runner. The window has to be in the lowered position.
Someone else may correct me but I did take one out of a wreck and that's how I did it.
