Ok, you can unplug the ICP and crank. It will default to a "safe mode" but will crank. You can also look at the top of the sensor and see if it is leaking oil. Won't be much, but sometimes when they go bad, they will have a little bit of oil under the plug. The IPR is not so easy. Other than checking the tin nut on the back and the wiring harness, the rest will require a code reader or better data tools.
yes that is what it does i will check the oil level on mine again the funny thing is mine only acts funny if it sets for like 24 hours or so so that my be it
50* should not require glow plugs. I gonna take a wild guess and say your batteries are getting old and weak. Lots of things can cause your problems such as low oil, HPOP draining down, dirty oil, weak batteries, dragging started and these are just the simple one to check. Bad ICP and IPR are more difficult to find and repair. Make sure the first ones are good and we will go from ther

When i first bought my 01 f250psd mine was hard to start. I checked the batteries and they tested fine. But... just for fun, i installed two new batteries and the truck has started fine ever since! Jeff

There are only a few ways for the oil to drain from the resevoir ,, none of them are good ....
well i am still haveing the same problem with her got an ICP ordered gonna try that a guy around here said it could be the injector o-rings what do yall think about that
Did I read that the truck starts fine if you plug in the heater? If so, you have a GP system problem. Nothing to do with the IPR or ICP.
If so, have an assistant, one of you jump the large terminals on the GPR for about one minute, and then the other person can turn the key and see if it cranks. No need to be in the WTS mode while the person is jumping the GPR. Just turn there for about 5 seconds to build fuel pressure and crank it.
EDIT: Also, does it show any oil pressure while cranking when it does not start?
