T5 Crossmember Modification

Well I wasn't going to let this beat me so last night I cut and pasted my crossmember to fit around my power booster. Also I am looking for information on where is best place to pick up the vacuum from my flathead.

Any comments

wow, that looks like a pretty nice setup. couple questions though, first- what kind of MC is that? second- what T5 are you using? i have a 302/T5 i planned on using but am having trouble figuring out if i should use the T5 because i want stock pedals but dont feel like switching over to hydrualic. so im leaning on the possibility of using an auto. what setup are you running as far as pedals go? thanks in advance

Thanks for the comments. My truck is a 52 F1 mostly stock, I am using the stock pedals with the brake and transmission setup. I am using a T5 out of an earlier S10 V6 and the the clutch assembly is stock except for the clutch plate so I can use the stock shaft and throw out bearing. If you look in my gallery you can see how I made the T5 adapter out of a 51 4 speed transmission. When the cab is back in place and the carpet is down you will think it is stock, shifter will be close to original but closer to the seat.

Good luck with your project
