4x4 Idea
Hey I have a 59 F100 that is 2wd. I trying to decide if I want to convert it to a 4x4 or if I want to buy a 63 4x4 and transplant my motor into it. Could I use the front differential, transfer case, driveshafts, and transmission out of the 63? Or would it be better to just go with the 63, which is in overall better condition. Both are longbeds by the way.

Most people would suggest that you should put your 59 body on the 63 4x4 chassis. I think this is the easier way to go, but if you have the time you could put the 4x4 parts under your 59.
