Did you get the retainer clips out? If you can, spread the ends a little, then pull them out. I usually expect to break them in the process and buy new ones at the parts house. the lines will pull straight off after you remove the retainers.
Are you talking about the fuel tank OR fuel filter. You seem to be mixing up the two. If you mean fuel filter those little plastic clips usually come in the box with the new filter. If your filter uses the metal type clips you need a Special Tool to compress the three tabs on each end of the filter/fuel line junction. You have to slide the tool over the fuel line and push it all the way to the filter. The tabs will release and the fuel line will pull out of the filter. It's sometimes hard to get the fuel line out of the filter. You'll need to push the tool in as far as you can and while holding the tool in as tight as you can you have to pull the fuel line and fuel filter in opposite direction. You will need three hands to do this part.
