Will that be plastic?
I was looking through some old papers that came with my truck.
I found a small plastic plate with some glue residue on the back.
The plate had an individuals name imprinted in it, also the date 2 1 66
Underneath was WINDYGATES, MB.
Underneath this was MORDEN MOTORS LTD 14449
Most of this information is self explanatory. The name of the owner the date of purchase, the dealership.
I was just curious as to the 14449 and what purpose this plate served and also where it originally was glued to.

its the warranty card...shouldnt have glue on it...the metal strip was what was glued to the manual. The card has all the original owner info...and selling dealer and in service date...dont toss that pup...a tough thing to find...let alone an original owners manual for a truck...

That also answers my second question.
There is also a metal tab with the warranty, axle and transmission numbers in the bag of old papers.
It is not as detailed as the warranty plate on the door.
