i already changed my fluid helped for a day or 2 but that was it its back to doing it i even ran a trans flush though it i think its one of the electric shift controlers but i dont know how to check them if you find a solution please let me know those trannys are very exspensive
I'm going to swing by the dealership and attempt to beg for information from a tech.
As I look at the diagram provided here it narrows my search, but am still looking where to start. Guessing it's not the TPI as that should have been tested with the OBD.
That leaves:
Transmission Solenoid Body (subsystems)
Control Solenoid 1
Control Solenoid 2
Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid
Electric Pressure Control Solenoid
Coast Clutch Solenoid
Trans Fluid Temperature Solenoid
hey i solved the problem hope this helps you my truck was doing the same thing and i did some research and found out that on that tranny the nuetral safety switch as auto zone calls it tells the tranny when to shift so i changed that and now the truck shifts smooth and perfect its a 37 dollar part
