Sun Tach II

I am having odd electrical issues. here is the story...
Truck has ran fine for months, after stopping for gas yesterday, went to crank it an pull out, it was acting like the batt. was dead, turning over really slow. I backed off and tried agin...fired up, but was running like S**T.
I stopped and looked under the hood, checked ALL electrical connection. All seemed fine...got back in, started again....ran great, EXCEPT I blew the CD player fuse {inside the player} Today...runs great CD/radio work...NOW my Super Sun tach II won't get pass 2000, and won't drop less that 1200....Checked all the connetion, again, ALL are fine...in fact Itook them apart and re-hooked it all just to make sure.....?
Any suggestions? Or just keep a fire ext. with me

Check the voltage on the battery with the engine running. It should be around 14.5v if everything is healthy.

Going to check all the electrical Sat. Update...today comming home from work, It died.....Like someone yaked the Battery out. I pull over, HAD NO power at all, I get under the hood to check any loose connections....The NEG side of the battery on the litte box on the fender was a little loose, not by much...tighened it down "jiggled" other connection, got in...it fires right up and ran fine all the way home. The only thing that I was mad about....I lost all my programed radio stations...lol
Got to LOVE the electrical grimlins...Little basterds!!
