99 f350 4x4 CC...Gauges are here (isspro) and I'm not crazy about the "A" pillar mount any suggestions on a 4 gauge pillar that replace oem pillar, so if I needed I could take gauges out and put original pillar back in?
I saw some on a site the other night..one of the sponsors either Diesel Manor, ITP or DieselSite. They would sell you a new pillar for $35 so you didn't have to drill holes in your original. I'm thinking about doing the same thing when I re-do mine. I've never understood why the kits don't just allow you to pull the original and install the guage pillar.....maybe I'm missing something.

I can't figure that out either... I'm tempted to buy a second gauge pillar and a factory pillar from a junkyard, cut them both up and see if a guy could turn the two into one and still have it look decent.
Just checked the ITP Diesel site. I had been looking there a few weeks ago and they had a 3 gauge kit that included a painted-to-match pillar that replaced the factory one (instead of being the type that popped on top of the stock pillar). Today the website does not have this available anymore. The cost was over $500, which while expensive I would have paid for the convenience factor and the fact that it replaced the original pillar. Today they only have the DIY kit available. They are down for about a week; when they come back on I will contact them and find out what happened to the $500 kit.
