Injector pump question
I have a couple solenoids (?) that have connections and they are on/next to the pump. One is mounted on the driver's side and has two connections and the other is on the passenger side and I think it's the cold idle solenoid (?). The one on the driver's side is the one I'm most interested in. I do have a manual but it's very generic and doesn't describe a lot of diesel specific parts. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dave!! Whenever I have the cold fast idle solenoid hooked up it makes the engine race to 2500+ RPMs. Last night it was so bad the truck was "idling" down the road at 55 mph. How do I fix this? I'm really concerned I may hurt the engine if it revs like that again.

Something wrong with that, is the fast idle solenoid plunger touching the injection pump lever all the time?
Try turning the rod on the idle solenoid to make it shorter, right hand threads.
