tires and clutch..

in case anybody was wondering, you CAN fit hummer tires on a F250 with just a 4" lift.. they do rub a bit on the springs, and if I had a bumper I'm guessing it would rub a LOT on it.. but they DO fit.. however, the 36" tall tires (and a few burn outs and drag races) pushed my already weak clutch over the edge.. so anybody got any pointers on replacing it? I'm going to change it over to a singe mass clutch & flywheel, and put in a southbend clutch.. (since southbend clutch is like half hour away) hoping to get it all torn down today, and get it back togather this coming week some time after work.. but any pointers you guys could give me would be great..

Get a Viair clutch and SMF. They are highly reguarded here.Good reports on them.

Ya, a clutch install isnt bad if you know your way around your truck. get a chiltons, or i thought i heard of another book that is revered around here

Valair........LOL Not Viair. Yes, they are great clutches. I was gonna say the same thing Neal, but he sounded like he was pretty set on SB. And as we all know, those are great clutches too. But I bet you a tank of diesel that if he called Dan and said I sent him, he would beat that $500 price tag.
