1999 Taurus Door keypad code retrieval

i know this is a truck forum lol but does anyone know where to find the code for the door keypad for a 99 taurus?? just curious to see if anyone knows, any help would be appreciated!

You may want to either...
A.) Look for the card (usually w/the owners manual) with the code on it.
B.) Look in the trunk area- left side, opening the door for the jack. Then look inside with a flashlight. Iirc, you need to be looking towards the front of the car.
The code should be printed on a sticker- with/on the RAP module.

There are several places Ford likes to put this. I do NOT know where it is on your car. But common places are...
On the trunk hinge arm, or somewhere in the trunk. Usually a paper tag.
On the car information card, looks like a credit card. Usually sits in a slot in the owners manual.
On the computer which is often on the passenger side firewall behind the glove compartment. Usually a paper tag.
Sometimes on the driver side door computer, if you have keyless remote entry. It is a small control box with wires and connected to the key pad. Need to remove the door panel. A paper tag.
Worst case a dealer will read the code for you but it can be around $50-$100. Best to have good relations with the service manager, maybe he will do it free, it is so easy it is sad they actually charge for this.
You are lucky. The newer Fords stopped putting the tag on things because of 1) Anti theft concerns, or 2) a quick $50 to the dealer. YOurs is old enough that chances are you will find it in one of the places mentioned.

The OP hasn't reported back, maybe he found it. But this ^^ should be where it is on the '99 Taurus. Though the label on the trunk lid door hinge would be a good spot to look also.
