I'll be looking for an older truck this summer, but I need some help.
I've seen Chevy trucks with dual wheels tucked under a fleetside bed (no dually fenders).
What years and sizes (i.e F250 or F350) can I do this with ?
Does anyone have pics of this ?
I like the dually wheels for traction and some stability when towing, but I don't want the huge fenders.
Any help appreciated.
I have seen a few of the old 70's style fords with that setup. The other day I saw one though where the dual wheels weren't tucked under and the owner just horribly bent the bedsides out to cover the wheels.
Really interested in 75 to 78 F250 0r F350 set up this way.
I've found some Supercab and Crewcab 4X4 trucks I'm interested in.
This will basically be for mild towing and a rescue vehicle when my kids cars break down.
They usually manage to do this miles from home and always with their little ones in the car (usually in a snowstorm).
Plus it's an excuse to build another playtoy !!!!
