Vent hole such as near the AC/heater box? If you've been running the A/C or defroster, that water could just be built up condensation spilling out rather than draining. There should be a tube that runs out to the engine bay from that box for it to drain, spiders and such like to clog that hole.

Just a suggestion.

Na its not running, just rainy out there. I was just wondering if there is an area under the cowling vent like where the vent gets its air, if it can leak in?
Gosh can't anyone make a vehicle now that doesn't leak?

Yes, the cowl can crack and leak into the cab. I haven't heard of many fords doing this, but it is possible and easy to repair. Once you find the crack, caulk, JB weld, just about anything can close it up.

I would look at the drain for the A/C. My buddy had a car that would leak when it rained. Come to find out the drain for the A/C had got pine needles and junk from the trees it was parked under. After it was clean there were no mor leaks.

my truck leaks in the same place, under the pass. dash from the ac/heater intake. i turns out that when ever the windshield was replaced last, the guy that did it, didn't seal it vary well and i leaks when it rains. And if im on the highway you can actually see the water quirting in onto the dash. It also make some wind noise.

Its an easy fix but i just haven't done it yet.

It might not be the same problem that your having but i just thought id throw this out there for ya.

Good Luck
