Mine has had that problem since it was at 80K miles. I'm now at 109K miles and haven't touched them. I don't have the money for a shop ($600+), and don't have a second vehicle so I can do them myself...

I dont know how long its been since some of the studs broke off, but i could care less anyway. I dont ever plan on getting rid of my truck(too many miles to get any kind of good money out of it) so i will just let 'em leak

Mine had no exhaust leak at 149k, but it was a V6. The rear stud was rotted out, but the head didn't come off till i tried to unbolt it.
