351c question?

I am going to be swapping motors in my 86 f-150. I have found a 351c. I was wondering if since the 351c and the 351m were from the same engine family if the cleveland has the same problem with the bottom end going out?

351c question?

Well first of all you don't have a 351M in your 86 truck unless it was swapped in, it's a 351W. To answer your question yes the 351C and 351M are from the same engine family. As far as the bottom ends going out, well it depends how you drive. A 351C does have the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 351W but not the 351M so the swap between a W and a C is probably easier.
