Wallpaper?

I think he is looking for higher resolution images that can be used as wallpapers. My monitor could fit 15 of those gallery-sized images, and stretching one of those would look like crud.
My friend is a photographer and he was going to take a "professional" picture of my Infiniti for fun... maybe I could convince him to take a good picture of my truck :-P It'll be the highest resolution image of one of these trucks ever!

If he has his own pictures straight from a camera or scans pictures that he took himself, he can get high enough resolution pictures for his wallpaper. But he is asking for other pictures, not ones he took. He is probably looking for something a bit higher quality or more stylish than any joe blow with a camera can take. I could go take a picture of my truck, but it wouldn't be nice enough to be my wallpaper.

Don't forget to convert your photos to 72 dpi. That's all the quality you are going to get out of a monitor. It reduces the file size of the photo and increases the actual size of the photo. Anything above 72 dpi on a monitor is wasting storage space. *** If you plan on printing your photos from your camera, save the 72 dpi as a seperate file so you don't destroy your high resolution file.
