building a 400 need help!!!!
the motor is going in my offroad toy.
it has a 4speed
5.12 gears
40"tires
i`m not going to get into the 6000 rpm range.
i aready have a set of aussie 2v heads (62cc).
so i know i`m going to have to shim them alittle.
the thing i`m not sure of is the cam.
and which type of roller rockers.

building a 400 need help!!!!
The question of roller rockers came up on another list. The consensus was that the Harland Sharp / Dove rockers were OK for street performance use. Someone had specifically asked about the Crane Gold which are about 1.5 times the price. I don't have any first hand knowledge but several people claimed to be using them for years with no problems in 6000 rpm street/strip engines.
